A buddy and I dropped in a group of two tonight. We had a bunch of really outstanding matches. One stands out though, we were at the end of the match, the opponent had 9 kills to our 7. We quickly repositioned ourselves and engaged, killing two of them, but they had killed the other remaining teammate and my buddy, leaving me and two other mechs. I got one, but was then taken out by an unlucky shot. My two man group had 2100 damage and 7 kills. This is probably the best match I've ever personally played due simply to the fact that we used great tactics and positioning. Still, we lost. Best I've played in a loss by far, I'd say.
I play a CDA-2B or X5 most of the time, and I've had a few games where I had a heroic run cut short at the end. My best one ended with 5 kills, 6 assists and 900 damage...so I was involved in damaging every mech that died The last guy was in a Firestarter though, and he'd taken less damage...we legged each other at the same time, but his other leg had less damage, so he finished my second leg off first. Great battle though...was a 4v1 before that, but his three teammates were all in critical status, so 1 shot finished them off.
Two that come to mind. This one was high damage in a loss. I was last man standing on my team, against 6 of them. I took out three before I went down. Best I can recall lately was yesterday morning. I was playing around in my Golden Boy SRM brawler when our team went down quickly 9 to 5 or 6 (I think, I know we were fairly outmatched) on River City. All we had left was an Illya, myself, and a Victor. The Illya and the Victor were near where Theta would be in conquest, and I was near the dropship. I rushed towards my allies, as we realized that we needed to regroup, when I ran into an Atlas in that rocky area near Upper. I thankfully was fast enough/had enough SRMS to dart in between the rocks and score hits on his damaged CT. He took off one of my arms, but I eventually took him down. At that moment, a CTF and VTR came to finish me off (This whole time, my allied VTR and ILLA were busy trying to stay alive and fend off the other enemies). I alpha striked the CTF's badly damaged side torso, turned tail, and ran towards my allies. Thankfully he had an XL engine, and that alpha took him out, unfortunately, the VTR was very happy to fight me, and took off my other arm. Being a Golden boy, I now only had a few SRM shots left, as my energy weapons were in my arms. I made it to my allies in time to help finish off I think a Hunchback with my last SRM ammo. As we turned to face the Victor, we realized that both myself and the Victor were both out of ammo/lost our energy weapons in battle, so it was just us as armor for our Illya who was very badly damaged. In the end, after a tense minute or two of brawling, the enemy VTR killed the Illya, and my allied victor and I were stuck trying to ram the opposing VTR to death. Unfortunately collisions aren't in the game, so it ended there. In retrospect, I suppose we could have both run away and hoped for either a win by time or a tie if it caught one of us. My apologies for the wall of text. I may come back in the morning and reformat this if I remember.

May start that again. Would have been nice to get the "300" Pass action...or the draw where i and the enemies last mech kill eachother with a AC20 and a return volley of large lasers while the AC round is in the air.
