This is an entirely support, long range sniper, quick repositioning commando. It picks off limbs, guides in missiles, and constantly annoys/harasses the enemy. The build also works with -1B's. It is low on end game brawling however so speed and positioning are your allies. Rocks take laser fire much better than a commando anyways.
XL220 is a very bad engine: since it requires one more external heat-sink and only weights one less ton than the 225, it means they actually weight the same, with the 225 giving you a little more speed and heat dissipation (internal DHS dissipate twice a normal HS, external only x1.4)(not that heat efficiency matter with this build, but we're here to min/max, aren't we? ). You can also easily shave 0.5t of armor from the head and TAG arm, to upgrade to almost max speed with an XL235. (but to be honest, I'm afraid it's a bit weak)
The only reason why I used that engine was because I had it laying around because I bought the XL220 as a newbie many moons ago. I had to stick it in something besides sending it back to the scrap heap. I do agree that the XL235 would be better, but economics was more of a compromise for this mech than anything else. I still get plenty of components and assist with this as it stands right now.
