Similar loadout to Scarlet Fox in other thread but I've went down on 300XL engine but remained on MLs. I still get to have decent speed (133,7 km/h with speed tweak) and formidable punch. These are my stats, each match is PUG play, 95% of the games played are with this loadout: As you can see, I have no regrets buying X5. This is my favourite mech after Jenner D.
I am convinced, come payday I am a Convert. It's going to get expensive though, after getting basic finished in three of the variants I sold all but the ECM version...then my six year old sold that one on me.:sad: I think this version is perfect for what the Cicada has to offer. Myth.
Yes. This build is amazing. I saved up for the 300XL with my SLas build and this one really tops it. Buy the X5 and make this build. Or, better yet don't. It will make my job easier.
This is the mech my 2A will never be. Surely more punch and the weapons grouping order can manage heat depending on what map one plays on I guess... Nice share!
Will be switching to this (vs. the 2 SSRM2 version) as soon as I accumulate enough cbills for the 300XL. I like the extra punch and it's not neutered by ECM.
I scored 550 damage in my first match today using this build. I love it. The X-5 just moved back into the top of my list.
Yes. While the volleys are a bit harder to aim and you have to keep your frontside exposed, the screen interruption can also work to your advantage. I just got wrecked by an AWS-9M for just that reason. Made my aiming very difficult... Chatt.
