This mech wasn't designed by me it was designed by a guy that killed a full health Atlas DD so fast he didn't even have a chance to get target info before he died. Watched it as a spectator and it was absolutely terrifying how easily he was able to alpha one spot at a time and literally dismantle the Atlas before he got off 2 volleys from 10 meters away. Zap Left arm gone, Zap right arm gone, zap zap CT gone...just that quick

I recently started using this build. Routinely get 600+ damage. Even saw a 6 kill 900+ damage game.
Decent long range pin point hitting and those 6 MLs high torso mounted are killers when coming over hills.
    And close range finishing.
Heat isn't a huge issue with some self control.
    All around great build.

    XL variant:

Feel free to swap heatsinks for ammo/ams/armor.

Was about to post this build. Works very well. I opted for dropping ~1/2 ton of armor for another ton of Gauss ammo though.

However I was thinking more about it, is it worth it to put CASE in the Left Torso? When the Gauss Rifle explodes (most likely will) that damage would spread to the Left Torso, am I correct that CASE in the Left Torso would prevent that damage?

You'd have to put case in the same arm as the gauss. prevents spreading of damage from the component it's installed in, not to the component.
