BRAWLOLOLOLOL!!! Pull a STD340 out of a Battlemaster, the 6 lasers from a BJ3 and the Heatsinks from four other mechs. This thing will run cooler than ice, runs faster than a Kenyan, jump like a wolf spider and survive longer than a cockroach! (on paper) As soon as I get back from my business trip, you will see me driving some buddies crazy with a jumping, brawling, zombie Cat! I'm excited. BOOM! Cool. Fast. Solid alpha. DUAL AMS. Has lift-off and can go FULL zombie. We're talkin' Cent-mode here. I'm looking forward to those 15% health rounds, still driving people nuts. (as soon as I repaint this hideous joker)
I've seen several folks now mention this 6 MLas build. Just can't see this one doing much, it just has the armament of a light with none of the perks. This particular one is the best of the 6 MLas builds with that big Std engine. Cpt if you do run this one please post up your results I at least will be interested in seeing how it does.
I have high hopes with 50% cooling and a nearly 100kph STD powerplant in a 65T mech... That is the perk. Light load-out, better cooling, heavy armor and no XL needed. I've had plenty of Jenner rounds in the 700-800 damage, 4-5 kill range... We'll see tomorrow.
I was of the impression that attempting to zombie a Catapult is some kind of joke, the CT is huge. Centurions are good zombies because they have a small CT hitbox. Although I suppose a highly skilled pilot who is able to torso twist his way out of CT damage might have some luck with zombifying a Catapult... it just seems impractical.
Your gonna have to get another ton of AMS ammo in there. After playing the jester tonight (yeah more money than sense) I found those dual AMS's just chew though your AMS ammo. 2 tons is just about acceptable.
Armor is light for how much ground you need to close to use those MLas. Other than price issues, using an XL in a CPLT is a no brainer as your CT and HD get hit more often than your sides do.
