I wanted to make a build that took advantage of the SH's speed and maneuverability whilst still packing a punch! I've noticed a recent trend in people aiming for my legs, so I've decided to keep as much leg armor as possible and keep the ammo out of the legs too. I'm not too sure about that SRM ammo in the torso. I might just end up putting it in the legs.
While it does feel tempting to fill up those ballistic slots, I think that since they're torso mounted you miss a lot of maneuverability with the machinegun fire. I'd trade them + ammo for two more DHS, giving you a nice efficiency to keep poking with large lasers whilst darting around (approx. time to overheat when using only lasers is 50% higher!) 20 SRM salvos is a bit little but as it's not the main weapon of the build I suppose it's fine as a support when you can.
Well you can't run artemis on this chassis if you want to run the launcher in the head because it adds a slot. Also I love the MGs for the crit seeking, plus the SH has great torso movement. Aiming the torso ballistics isn't very problematic.
Yeah, I guess i haven't played MWO in a very long amount of time (due to a broken computer and no time to fix it ).
Well, i already know that SRMs don't lock on (Streaks do the trick :whacko, but i thought that if you place Artemis IV in it, they will lock on. Boy was i a derp...
