Originally this was done by Lefteye and I know for those of us who weren't invited it is still nice to see what went on over there. This video is around 27 minutes long and is essentially a slideshow of stuff with no real eye candy per say but its still better than a lump of coal.

I am taken aback after watching this. :( To me it seems very amateurish. Not just this presentation or how they handled "Launch" but also how they have handled communication and development. After seeing this video everything kind of clicked together and I am wondering if they have what it takes to finish this game properly. Judging from this presentation there are not going to be any big improvements for 6 - 8 months from now. Until then it is going to be the same grind which is bound to put people off. Can they afford that? They are squeezing the player base quite hard for money already.

Now I have only been around for a couple of months but in that time I haven't seen an awful lot of progress. What do you veterans think?

"I'm to old for this sh.." is what I'm thinking. I used to be the type to hang in because I thought I'd need to "protect the investment" oder "all the time you spend to achieve ...XY".
But that all has changed. I'm not playing games anymore to build future empires but to enjoy the now. There's no investments to protect, if you felt it was worth it when you bought it and played with it. There is no good times to revive if you had those good times ... "it was good while it was good".
That's good enough and that's all a game has to do. That means of course that I'm less patient with idiot decisions. I'm beyond taking it to forums or proposing improvements - it's not my job to help a developer provide me with a great gaming experience. It is THEIR job to do that, they take my money in exchange, I owe them nothing, they owe me a "thank you Sir, please come back soon".

So if a game is no longer enjoyable that's no biggie. There are tons of games you can play. A plenty of things beyond gaming to enjoy.
So - I'll be watching. My order for that Phoenix package is still up although I've pondered to ask for a refund, but - what the heck.
I'll check it out once it's out and see wether they got anything running besides the same-o hamster wheel.

Damn video is a joke! Take haiste, wait a a few weeks! The hits just keep on hitting! Come out with player rewards, special deals etc,... and You wont be any closer to solutions, problem fixes, bug repairs. As long as theres a profit margin being kept. I think I am losing hope in this endeavor!
Glad they didn't present this at ComicCon 2013. When I was there. I would of hit them with 20 or so questions still not answered by just me!
