    My new Spider build after the PPC heat buff. I'm still fiddiling with the armor values, but that will not take long to perfect.

    EDIT- 2 other builds posted which were posted by certain individuals who shall be credited in this OP, just to show the evolution of this build. While they should take NO pride in duplicating the build and posting it multiple times, I do like seeing that many have tried this build and have enjoyed it.

    Probably the most fun of the spider builds I've played. With this I often end up being the last one alive, taking out damaged enemies one by one, and generally being very annoying.

    Good for flanking and sniping, and can hold it's own in brawls. It does run a bit hot though if you use both lasers and the ER PPC, but very good damage for short term engagements.

    I ran this a long time ago, back before heat penalty's...and it is now quite bad

    Yeah that looks kinda bad. My build is far more optimized though, you might like it if you actually tried it. Takes a bit of skill to pull through though so I guess it's not for everyone. What is this heat penalty you're talking about and how does it affect this build?

    I RAN THIS BUILD EXACTLY AS SPECIFIED IN THE OP

    and the build before it, and I still don't perfer one or the other.

    Ok, ok, no need to get mad. As I said it's not for everyone. ;) You still didn't answer how exactly does the heat penalty (I assume you're talking about the heat scaling) affect this build?

    He's not talking about the heat scaling penalty (the so-called "ghost heat"), but about the recent PPC heat buff.

    On the contrary it's a good idea.
    And since Vergere did his job updating the OP with variants, the reader has everything in a single post. No need to read the full thread and/or search the forum.

    (that being said Vergere, for better readability you should include them in quotes, since you're not the one talking)
