Updated build for 4/21/13. Obvious brawl build is obvious. I like to post up in this one in a trench and eat a ham sandwich, waiting for the enemies to get impatient or beat up by snipers. Don't push wrecklessly or it's toast. ^^ ps - can a mod change the title of the thread for this build? thx
I find it funny that someone named Soy is talking about eating meat... Anyway... This looks like a pretty sick brawling build. I have something similar on my Pretty Baby, except without AMS and a bit more firepower shuffled from lasers to missiles (and my right arm uses an ER PPC to make it similar to a Dragon's ballistic arm). Have you considered dropping a DHS or AMS to add a ML to the head? I find ML+LPL actually pairs really well together, and you already have several on the torso.
I've loved the Awesome from the first moment I saw it, but I was disappointed by its capabilities in MWO. Nonetheless, I still piloted it frequently, until I mastered it and it was slowly buried under the power creep brought by 'Mechs such as the Highlander and Battlemaster. But, I like this build. It's made the Awesome fun to pilot again. I'm running a slight variation on it, with a PPC in the arm and no AMS.
