MechSpecs game night? (or day)

Just a thought.. (and maybe one that goes out to clanless folks mostly)
I know many of us are all over the world, but wanted to see if people are up for a game night? Join the TS3 server together and drop together. Maybe even have 12v12, Mechspecs vs Mechspecs action, if we get 24 people.

Sure, I don't mind getting killed by people who know what they are doing as opposed to randoms...

 

The best way to make something like this happen is to pick a day and then hit the MechSpecs channel on NGNG TS3

I might try to be social, depending on the day and time. I have a very small window when I can get on coms, usually only on weekday nights after 9PM EST. Be nice to actually hang out though.

 

indeed, I still feel like i need to take Vergere down a few times

 

03:00 for us GMT+2 mainland Europeans so that would be difficult for me at least. 18:00 (6pm) EST would be manageable for a friday, that'd be midnight.

Whatever works for most of us I guess, but for me, start no later then 18:00 EST.

 

I'm down for whatever time you pick. I don't have a mic though - still waiting on modmic.com to come out with their newest version to attach to my headphones.

 

sounds fun seeing as I'm one of those "Clanless" people...PUG drops are ...exciting...is that the right word?

 

I think the word you are looking for is "horrible". Sure, I've had a few games with people who all knew what they were doing and actually communicated, but they are incredibly rare.

Only, I can't be on Vergere's team. Few nights ago I played with his group and was only putting up 300-400 damage. As soon as he left, 600-700 three rounds straight! Happens every time I drop with him. Monster alone, noob on his team.

He just makes me laugh and I get distracted... that's what I'll blame.

 

If I'm available at the selected time I'd love to give this a go. It would be great to try dropping in a group rather than a PUG.
I'll even download TS for the occasion!

I'll apologize in advance for my mic though, I'm using a Razor Kraken headset and it seems to enjoy playing back what's coming in through the headset out the mic again. Echo echo echo...

 

We should just do it weekly for whoever wants to come.

 

Agreed on weekly.. Fridays may be a bit tough though, big night out. Wednesdays?
