The good 'ol 4P, but this time with a 275 std engine and one more heat sink you are used to. The small laser is actually a very good weapon. When compared to the medium laser and both are firing you can get almost the same performance out of it with less heat. Be it with less range of course. The weight for the bigger engine and heat sink come from swapping 4 med lasers for 4 small lasers. I love this one, it is a lot more heat efficient compared to the old 9 med laser 4P. I'd suggest to break up it's weapon into 3 groups. 1: 2 arm med lasers 2: 4 small lasers (in the hunch) 3: 3 med lasers (2 hunch, one head) When brawling you'll always fire that group 2 (small lasers) first because they are the most heat efficient. Fill up any spare heat you have left on your mech with the mediums.
Welcome to Mechspecs, I hope you enjoy your stay. I would recommend reading the FAQ section, as it describes how to title your builds. Otherwise, it is quite a good build, being fast and cool. I personally like to have a small amount of long range punch, this would make a good knife fighter if it had BAP and AMS.
I tried to emulate the other topic titles. Not close enough. I see that you already changed the title, thx
Don't thank me, thank the Mods. They are always watching. But I would love to see a few screenshots from this mech, seeing how well you can do in it.
I tried to keep track of my scores the last few games. I am not a particularly good player, certainly not at this time of night. I scored 300-400 damage per match and a couple of kills (1-2). Sometimes i die early without much results, sometimes i go on a rampage and get 750 and 5 kills. This was all in random PUG matches. I forgot to make screenies in the games i lost because i usually quit before the score screen comes up.
Definitely has potential, I just wish they would increase the SML range to 120 meters like they did the MG.
I can attest to red line pilots exploits. We ran several pugs yesterday with various mediums. This one specifically. I tend to run my hunchy 4P as listed and run my buttons a lil diffenertly. 1. Left six pack 3 mls on chain. 2. Right six pack 3 mls on chain. 3. Head, and arms mls, 3 of them. 4. Alpha strike with six pack.
I think you are confusing me with someone else because i haven't ran any pre-made games yesterday. Also, the mech's listed don't have 9 MLsrs. Wrong thread maybe?
This is my general preference on the 4P loadout as well (experimental builds aside ) - I carry one less HS from Blagg's variant to jack up the leg armor is the only difference...
