Hello Chaps, I was getting bored with my previous PPC+Gauss Misery build, so I decided to think up new builds. I've tried it with lasers and/or an AC20, but nothing was really appealing to me. Then I noticed the reduction in the jam rate for the UAC5 in the last patch notes; so I knocked up this build: How is this build special? -The UAC5 does a load more DPS then a Gauss rifle. It also has the psychological factor that the enemy mech is being pounded by fire, forcing then to play defensive. -Those ERPPCs are there to smash through that armor, long or short range. -The last resort, the ERLLas. I hate not going down fighting, with the ERLLas you still have a chance once you're zombied. This build is also very heat efficient, so feel free to spice up your fire with a few laser blasts. - STD300 - gives you the survivability, and the speed. - 19DHS -The more the better. This makes sure you can fire those PPCs with minimal downtime. The UAC5 can be fired non-stop with no heat increase. Changes you can make to the build? - Replace a DHS with 1 ton of UAC5 ammo if you love the DAKKA. - Drop the engine down to a STD 280, you can convert that ERLLas to a LPLas. UPDATE: Even with the PPC heat increase on the 03/08/13, this build is still effective. It is noticeably hotter, but thanks to those 19DHS, it cools pretty fast. Ix
