AWS-8T Athariel's Dual Use (2x LRM15+A, 2x LLas, TAG, BAP, XL300)

As much as I think the Awesome is the worst assault chassis this variant and build is rapidly becoming my favorite.

It has great cooling efficiency, plenty of ammo backed up by some large lasers it works well operating at second line support able to get most use out of TAG and Artemis as well as provide some direct fire.

I was able to achieve a very high XP rate on this mech on a X2 as well as seen in the picture below.

Hey Guys, this is my take on it. The LLs are meant to be fired in chain fire.

 

Game play video now added. This is a solo pug drop with basic skills 8/8.

 

The video show a 8V not a 8T

 

a good build for the 8T. I would run it with extended Range Large Lasers! The Cool Efficiency is high enough for it.



The Amount of Missiles for 2x LRM15 is very high. Maybe it is a good option to replace two tons for two MLas instead for even higher Defense Firepower!

 

Here's my build with STD 300 engine. Not as cool, no BAP, but more durability.

 

I used a similar build a few months ago and really struggled with it. That said it was a few meta's ago before the LRM or armour buffs. perhaps it's time to try it again.
