Just a little video of the 5LL stalker in action running side by side against a highlander drop sniper Kaffeangst (Heard he wins alot of tournies ). Just goes to show their are more options than ppc gauss at top teir play in MWO despite popular belief http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0_ryMz4Ap5w&feature=youtu.be
Hrmmmmmmmmmmmmm interesting build. I like how you use the 5th LLas to keep up constant fire but reduce your Ghost Heat penalty. Build must be similar to this... http://mwo.smurfy-net.de/mechlab#i=75&l=b4f63b5611b37e4c57ce86a402eef166412e1476 Couldn't decide whether you had the 22nd Heat Sink or whether you had that 1 ton put into the legs instead.
Cool video man. Nice to know im not the only Stalker still rockin 4+ LL even after the heat penalty. Just gotta alternate, that easy. Question though, Whats the first song thats played?
Godmode! and yeah i've heard those vox in that first track before, but the actual song wasn't familiar, couldn't peg it, but not my type of music so i sorta forgot about it what track is it btw? it's gotta be some remix, right?
http://mwo.smurfy-net.de/mechlab#i=75&l=716ef966b9f3baa33075211443bad6a81bbbc9fb (put in your own back armour value i do use low back armour as i can roll damage like a lord but for newer players not advised) Unless playing a brawler i could never justify maxing a stalkers arm armour being such a small profile having such already high internals ontop of losing your side torso 99% of the time before your arm. If you want more leg armour you can cut the engine down to a 290 from a 295 and up it a little or do as i prefer and shave another 5 points off each arm to xfer to the legs. If you want an alternative for people whom have endo fitted to their stalker (Misery or 5M) http://mwo.smurfy-net.de/mechlab#i=75&l=028e37bd632950e297899f15792b464177746986 This is also quit good faster aswell though i prefer the extra DHS's The stalker tends to ridge hump as its best tactic so ams so it can break los easily and cover, so i don't feel was needed plus if you turn the side torso of a stalker 90 degrees to the incoming lrm volley is does a great job of evenly distributing the damage to the arm side torso of the side you face the volley and the ct due to its rather funky hitbox
Edited my 2nd build featuring endo i had misslinked with 2 tons free origionally sry (its ok to run .5 tons under max weight in some rare instances.)
