I have tried many variations, streaker, srm6, but a long range lrm nice for approaching and even useable while brawling. Found it usefull. DPS while brawling is pretty nice. Hope you like it! Well, you might want to change your mech's name, but that's just an opinion. I Like the idea of indirect fire power on this mech, even if the LRM's come out in streams. If you post some screenshots of your damage points and victories, I could rate it higher, but as is, it's a fairly average build. That said, Welcome to Mech Specs, I hope you enjoy your stay.
I have a variant of this, however I have lrm15 with artemis and 720 ammo and I absolutely love it. I have a over 150 matches and my average damage per match is over 400 and my KDR is 2.25. With the introduction of the 12 v 12 matches, tactics have changed quite a bit. People call it a cluster, but if you sit back and watch you will see that the match simply unfolds in a different manner. There is no more rushing in initially for any type of mech, you do that in an atlas and you still die in a heart beat because 12 people focus on you. 12 v 12 now requires breaking the enemy line first. Distracting them until your line can engage in close combat with theirs ... because of this, every tool that creates large or small amount of chaos counts. The LRMs on this mech provide a little bit of that, that sniper you targeted doesn't know you only have lrm 15 or 20, hit him once and it he may take a time to reposisition, move completely, or shut down to remove your lock. Doesn't seem like a lot, but 2 to 3 seconds allows others on your team to advance. This is not an average build, it is a well rounded build that lays down the hurt and helps break enemy lines ... once that line is broken, you are still a very deadly mech with your ac20 and 5 mls that can take abuse. 5 of 5
