This is really just a for fun build with the current meta of SRMs and PPCs rockin face right now. The PPCs and Artemis allow for a damn fine pinpoint targeting when close. Just think CN9-A zombie but MUCH heavier armed and armored.
I still think it's funny that people think they can zombie a mech with an XL engine. Still for the build, it's quite nice. 2JJ, lots of armor and ams. 4-5
Actually a Zombie in MWO is a Mech who already lost both arms and BOTH TORSO SIDES, so only running with Gunz in the CT. So this one can never be a Zombie.. The biggest possible "Assault" Zombies would be the AS7-D or AS7-K. The AWS-9M is also possible to go Zombie-Mode, but most guys would play this Variant with an XL Engine. Blagg
fair enough. Truth be told though, i just didnt know what to call this thing. I'll redo the name though if thats the only thing throwing people off.
Thats a lot better then what i was thinkin but i went with Gypsy Danger due to how much i love the Pacific Rim movie. His arm PPCs are also as close a weapon as we have to what the Gypsy Danger uses as well.
How about this version for more Speed, better Cool Efficiency, more DPS, shorter Cooldowns and more Ammo: Blagg
Re-directed from Rhent's "Superiority" PPC+SRM Timberwolf. This is my attempt at an IS build of the same loadout. Jumpy version: Artemis version:
I would take the Artemis one all the way. But im not a big fan to eliminate Ballistics from Victors. Shaking is Sexy
The ballistic version performs a lot cooler, and has a lot better sustained dps....but i had to shave prettymuch all the armor off the shield arm, oh well. I think 2x SRM 6 and 1x SRM 4 would be more efficient, because at least that way you get all the missiles to launch in a single volley. 3x6 means you'll always have that one missile lag behind. Might be better to save a ton to allocate elsewhere??? Ballistic version is tight on slots by the way. Either variant is a great facepuncher.
Actually, the slots are for 10 tubes, 5 tubes and 2 tubes, so this is the maximum "in-one-volley" SRM salvo. To be honest i also like this config more:
Unfortunately you don't get to borrow tubes from one hardpoint to the other, so one srm uses the 10, one uses the 5 and one uses the 2. With 3 srm6 in those hardpoints you get three volleys of 13-3-1 missiles. Much better IMHO to shave off some tonnage for smaller launchers 6+4+2 and get volleys of 12 (with the option to hold down and let the desync auto chainfire.)
