So, I'm way behind the times and had never used LB10s. I know. Stupid. I just didn't like the spread damage idea. However, I tried them with my CN-9 last week and fell in love, so, I decided to revisit my Jager and see what kinda brawling a Jager could do with ALLLL the Crits! Between MGs and LB10s, this thing tears people to shreds! I saw a match with 14 component destruction! Now, that's just fun! I ended up dead, had an ammo explosion from a light legging me and only had a little over 500 damage. (I think it was in the teens, 515, somewhere in that range) But upon seeing that 14 component destruction in the end I just cracked up! Troll mode engaged! I only had 2 kills and must have just annoyed the crap outta the others who's HS and weapons I stole. I was amused. (Zombie Atlas look hilarious) Anyway, good armor, avg speed and maneuverability, good alpha and incredible up close. Really only gives you a useable range of about 200-250 max, and that's spread, so you need some friends. However, get close and watch everything go away. Either they die or the sheer visual effect makes them run. Only dropped 15 or so times. (just a couple hours last night) I'd give myself a four outta five stars for range. Not the best build, but, she's fun. [size=14pt]Current, far superior build: Cool, fast, and has ammo to last. Chatt.
My Version with more Speed, less MG ammo and less Armor on Legs. I think the Speed bonus is more viable. With this build id fire the Lasers as Primary Weapons and the Crit.Gunz as Secondaries if getting in Close Range. Until they buff the Pulselasers id stick to the normal Lasers - cooler, less Tonnage, more Range. Blagg
You are completely correct. When I built this mech, I was just going a little LBX crazy after using them on my Centurions. I honestly only used pulse lasers because I like the sound pack and they are just fun to me. They are not as effective and the range is pretty crap. If I was going to use this as an effective build, I would prolly run exactly as you listed. Chatt.
I run this build now sans MGs, more LBX ammo, 4x MLas and XL300. Thing of beauty. The more I use them, the more I love the LBX. I was just comparing this and a CTF-4X (2x AC2, 2x LBX) and ran a round with a friend of mine, had 920 damage, 4 kills and got carried up talking over TS3 and didn't get a screenshot. Highest damage I've had in a Jag. The LBX won't do full damage at range, however, you can easily use these ACs over 1000m for an Assist tag or distraction. They'll still pull 3-4 damage at that range and give you some extra C-Bills/XP in the endgame. (Like an AC/2 without the sustained fire) With the added ammo from dropping the Pulse lasers and MGs, you can easily push 1000 damage and crit the hell out of your enemy.
