Bet you thought this was going to be a thread about the Cataphract!
Pfft, no where near big enough!
What? You're asking me what could be bigger that can mount twin Gauss?

I present to you the the Rupture:

You might notice the heat efficiency is crap, but that's why you have Gauss Rifles. You can fire those while cooling off without any problems. The big draw to this build is that you get a 50 damage alpha, two shots is often enough to put down a Gaussapault or strip and Atlas of his frontal armor, all this at a range of ~800-900 meters!

Of course, this is all theory and conceptual but I was bored. ;)

Basically you shoot those Gauss as any normal Gausscat would do, but when you get a target you won't miss (like an Atlas or a Gaussopult running straight for you) pop his frontal armor with a 50 damage alpha strike.

And since I'm doubly bored, a 3 LL + 1 Gauss sniper 'Mech. :p But imo an Atlas can do that job better.

Why is this here and not in the proper section?

There is no section for this 'Mech because it isn't even out yet. This is the Stalker.

There is a section but you guys can't see it apparently. Oh well LOL

There is a section for every mech. Maybe I need a "Theory Crafting" section. Grrrrrrr

I was able to see the sections for future Mechs yesterday, but I can't see them anymore.

Well the concept of that mech is interesting, is there any config with 4 ballistic slots?

The STK-4N has 4 in the side torsos. Of course that could change any moment as it isn't even out yet. :p

Yeah like your first build quite a bit, just there is a concern of lacking that 20 dps for prolonged amounts of time, adding 2 more gauss rifles have nasty potential though

I would but unfortunately they wouldn't fit as Gauss Rifles consume 7 slots each. (where the maximum slots in the side torso is only 12)

With that in mind, the Annihilator would be an amazing addition to MWO...

    What a fearsome 'Mech indeed.

Please note I only added 2 heatsinks out of necessity. The minimum number of heatsinks for a 'Mech to function in MWO is 10. since the 200 provides 8, 2 more are needed for the build to be legal.

They used to be there but they disappeared about 3 days ago.

I actually think that most of sections need a general thread for discussion.

Not enough ammo. I've seen dual-Guass-K2s running with 80 ammo, so I think 90 is absolute minimum for that to work, 30 per gauss if at all possible.

A clan mate hate this for an idea for the Stalker : 4 x Ultra AC/5 if you could somehow make that work (9.09DPSx4=36.36DPS), insanity in the works!
