I want to see a screenshot of your mechlab! lol Maybe it's all theory crafting, but, if you've played as many mechs as you've posted, you must have spent as much as 5 prepackaged games on MWO. (I'm kinda in the same boat though, so, I can't talk) Just seems like every variant I look to see if I want to build again/try out, you've got three builds in! Usually exemplary builds and great advice and tactics. Just... soooo many! Chatt.
Oh yeah... The build... The second build is what I am running now. I just re-purchased the -2D (had basic capped the one variant before) and built it very similar to your alt. Good build. Lots of fun. (How I run) I drop ECM. I can deal with the enemy knowing where I am and as far as LRMs are concerned, have no trouble finding cover. After I get Speed Tweak, LRMs only travel at 140kph, so, no worries. Either way, your build is an excellent scout, resource gathering mech and still holds some punch! 5/5 Chatt.
Unfortunately Cpt. LRM's travel at 120m/s, meaning .12 K/s, and that means 432kph. Close, but no cigar. As for the build, good work to both of you. 5-5

oh, trust me, you can out run them. They have TERRIBLE tracking on mechs over 140KPH. And that's been a bug for a LOOONG time.
Yeah i got lot of Mechs.. im just playing very much MWO recently and dont know what to do with the C-Bills. And i spent a lot of money for the Mechbays and skins. As an EX MW2+MW3.Pilot I just want to have great fun with all the interesting mechs/possible builds, and by supporting the devs we may have a more stable and extensive game in the near future. Blagg
Mine is stupider: 2xSRM4 on the arm and SRM6 on torso I'm not sure those builds are any good, but they're fun to play. But don't you run quickly out of ammo? I'd try to free one ton lowering the engine and/or armor (-1/2 ton and XL195, or XL180 without armor reduction).
Woaaah! Ok higher Firepower, but runs slower and hotter. And without Artemis SRM4 has better Spread. But you are right, stupider but awesome fun build!
This build just soloed my Jager in River City last night. Quick lil bastard! Having those SRMs packed into a tiny target is just MEAAAN! I'm still okay without ECM when I've been running this. With it's speed, LRMs are not an issue, less and less people seem to be carrying streaks and I'm not as worried about them knowing my location. Once again, as with most builds, all about personal preference. Chatt.
Here's the version i use: yes, its CT has more armor on the back than on the front. and i still get rear-torso'd more often.
XL190 is a Locust engine? I'm asking that because the 195 weights the same so it would be better in a pure min/max consideration.
190 is the max for a Locust yepp. Glasshopper mech, gotta respect the evasion skill in those pilots...
4/5, Good build but with only 2 ton of ammo you can not make a lot of damage. You must chose your target. ( or leave the ECM ... )
