The 23 gets 10% energy cooldown, so if you invest in some cooling, heat gen, laser duration, and more cooldown, this thing can do some nice trading. A little slower, but it is fairly agile and has those great Assassin hitboxes. Be sure to protect that right arm with your life, though! "But first, let me take a selfie!" I would like to think something like this may have been part of the SLDF's Light Horse regiments, but who knows... Anyways, enjoy it! I sure have been!
4/5, _ Since smurfy is down, linked how i built it. Traded it down to 245 to put in 3xJJs . This build has great pinpoint at good range, although it's not what the Assassin excels at it's still possible to do. Runs a little hot, with maxed heat skills. Worth a shot if you wanna try a different Assassin Highest dmg achieved after a few games: 710
I like the philosophy behind this. The arm mounted weapons are great for extra accuracy/fast tracking, especially against light mechs. That being said, I'm not sure if I would take this risk. But then, all I can think is "I can put this on my CDA-3F without having to armor up the arm", so I'm a little biased. Off of that experience, however, I can confirm that 3xLL is more than doable on a 40 tonner, with the right skill investments.
