The high mounted MRM40 is nice to peek over hills everything else is rather low mounted and only useful for brawls. In brawls shoot the AC20+MRM40 then twist and repeat and you can do this like forever (~15 times without nodes and Coolshot) so only use the ML to finish open parts or get rid off UAVs. In a 1v1 scenario it is possible to go try hard and fire 2-3 alphas (without nodes) and with a Coolshot 3-4 alphas are possible but even then the mech will likely overheat. What do you think? Plz leave a comment. Edit: Forgot to mention the STD350 makes this one a pretty fast zombie (for a AS7) after losing RT and LT.
I run a pretty similar AS7-D build With SRMS instead of MRMs. This sounds like a nicer option as it gets tough to get in optimal SRM range with a 100t even when you are going 56.7. God I love AC20s!
I like SRMs on AS7-D or KR too, lower cooldown and less heat. Optimal range for SRMs and AC20 is the same so it will be tough anyway to get in range. But in case of loading SRMs i think it is better to use a Gauss or a LB20X to increase poking range for transition to <270m.
