Theory crafting for 20th april 2021 patch _ 4xLL +1xERML with no ghost heat and crazy quirks (heat, duration, range). First build is max alpha and max cooling, but nothing stops you from dropping one or more DHS and/or ERML for a better engine rating, armor or utility (AMS / TC1) IMHO XL295 is the best compromise (-1 DHS) _ The name is based on a character from "the twelve tasks of asterix" Spoiler Spoiler: Previous iterations with 1xERML instead of TC1 _ _
UPDATE: dropped ERML in favor of a TC1. Yes, you lose a bit of alpha strike, but the additional range is very helpful in med-long range maps.
I suspect this should work about as good as the meme LPL build did back when quirks hit...and, naturally, it will suffer the same weakness. The problem with 6Ks is that too many people know that right arm is front loaded if they see...well, anything, I guess XD Still, if you play behind the lines, those alphas will tally up fast thanks to those DHS letting you just fire on autopilot. I'll have to refit my old 6K, haven't used it in a while, and I might as well dust it off since I've been going back through my garage XD
Build this guy up with the XL280 in it today...I like it. If you go full cooling in firepower and operations, you can get out 7 alphas and not overheat on Caustic, and since the WVR is always more of a fire support mech from behind the scenes, that's no problem. Now, time to go see how it works in 2021 XD Back soon with screenshots if it pans out Edit: Overall not bad, I generally run about 350-500 damage without too much effort. Was running with double cool shots at first, but switched that up fast, you really don't need CS if you're playing like you should with this guy. Never even broke 50% heat in any match by playing hit and run.
