40 pinpoint alpha. This is for carefully placed shots, not for rapid fire! It does heat up, but not as bad as it looks on paper IMO, and you can fire the AC10s when hot. If you can score 1000 damage in it, I guess you can call it a Warhammer 40 K

Heh heh I don't know much about GW these days. Used to play WFRP as a kid (1980s), that's about it. But yes, the pun on WH40k was intended. Anyway, you're right, it's better with the k, so I've edited the title.
If you swap to lgpls, you can torso mount them and strip the arms. Allowing you to have higher leg and head armor and to carry an extra dhs. Range will go down a ways, but your sustained DPS, alpha, and heat generation in general improve. Also can go slightly faster.
Pulse laser is totally different from PPC though, and would be a different build. Look: Pulse Laser: PPC/Plasma type: These guys are probably medium mech, relatively speaking.

BUMP: Thanks to 20th april 2021 AC10 heat buff and a minor skill investment, you are now completely heat stable when firing AC10 alone, making this build more viable and less trolly _
