The quirks on this thing are insane. HGR: 20% reduced cooldown, 25% reduced chance to be crit MRM40: 20% reduced cooldown ERML: 15% range, 10% reduced cooldown together with a bunch of armor quirks which make it the most durable mech in the game. The only downside is that 100-tonners have terrible, TERRIBLE mobility, but given how surprisingly cool it runs with Gauss+MRM40, and occasional ERML bursts, and the range at which you can hit stuff, I think it's a highly undervalued mech that needs some love! Focus in skill tree on Armor Hardening, Cooldown (stacks additively!), Range, and maybe ammo nodes if you tend to run out. Mobility is not useful, except perhaps for speed tweak, because everything is based off base movement which sucks a LOT.
Here's a dual AMS variant. ERML become too hot if you remove the DHS for space, but regular MLs will still do okay.
EDIT - I played what I originally posted and hated it, the following worked really well - _ Thanks for the bones of the build, Excalibaard. Same idea, slower but the cooldowns seem to sync really well and doesn't run too hot when skilled. I found moving faster didn't really help me all that much, your mileage may vary.
