A variant ATM build with some secondary lasers, more cooling and more sustain than an ATM 48 build.

 

How about 4x ATM9s? If you accidentally alpha, the ghost heat is not as bad and you can up the engine.

A much better idea! It also syncs up the cooldowns on the launchers. Strikes me as strange though that 2x ATM9 is lighter than ATM12 and ATM6. Some of the weapon weights don't make sense to me!

 

I used a marriage of both your ideas and built mine like this.
