Well boys, here it is- The face melting Atlas, the highest DPS Atlas (IMO), the Atlas dubbed "HLC-Heat Level Critical", cause you're gonna be riding the redline all through a brawl but almost always come out on top. _ -With a double tap, you are looking at 125 damage...on a friggin' Atlas. -You armor quirks are that of the Atlas D, and with survival nodes you're lookin at 121 in the side torsos (in the front alone) and 161 in the CT. -Stack on the reduced crit chance nodes and you're at about ~ minus 40% crit chance with quirks -With the missile range quirk and several range nodes you MRMs have a 660 Meter range for some good upfront damage Firing groups as follows: Group 1-UAC20 Group 2-MRM40+MRM20 (Ghost heat is very negligible) Group 3-5xML Group 4-MRMs and MLs (80 dmg but hot so use sparingly) Give em a double tap of the ol' UAC20, dump all 60 MRMs, then the lasers, repeat. If an unsuspecting enemy shows you their side torso or back, help them by removing it from their mech in one quick volley See any open component on a mech? It's gone. In a heavy brawl you will get very hot but with trigger discipline you can always avoid cooking yourself: -Got only 20% heat left available to you? Double tap your UAC20 but with a .5 second delay in between. -Have almost 40%? Dump the MRMs -Surprisingly, the structure holds up very well in overheat territory and you only take minor damage as long as you stop firing for a few- you will be there a lot. -Never alpha your weapons unless you just need to delete someone from the battlefield in one foul swoop. Heat nodes are a must Ammo nodes are a must Armor nodes are a must Does the build run hot? Yes. Does the build completely demolish anything in its path? Pretty much. If you've played it right your ammo is empty by the end of the match and the enemy team is dead. Show other pilots that the Atlas platform is still a force to be reckoned with. **Side note, if you're having trouble managing your heat you can grab another DHS by removing the AMS but I don't recommend it in the long run in regards to survivability.
