The MAL-1R seems to have an Endo Steel chassis as it can carry more than the other Mauler mechs. It weighs in at 38.4 tons stripped of equipment but with Max Armour, as opposed to 47.3 for the MX-90, thats 9 tons more tonnage for weapons! Put the best AC-2s you have in burst fire or not it doesnt matter, as the dammage gets splattered around allot. I put Medium Lasers inthe arms as they are easily replaceable in case of a blow out. This is a pretty good long range support mech.
