She's not the actual voice-actor yet, just a synthesized voice... Last I checked anyways.

Yeah, already watched that and the synthesized voice sounds nothing like that.

what was the command line you added to the config to hear it?

 

I didn't do a .cfg edit. Hopefully someone will come by and tell you how though, but I do not know which config edit would activate those files in game.

apparantly that is the code to add to user.cfg , goint to test it out now:

gp_mech_sound_system_disable_bitchinbetty = 0

 

I need a bitching betty in my cockpit for sure! There are times I run so razor close to the shutdown that a misstep in to the caldera and blamo, I'm shutting down. A nice bitching betty would go a long way to prevent that.

Step #1 Enable config & user

Step #2 Go into your MechWarrior Online Folder and find the user.cfg

Step #3 Open user.cfg in notepad.exe

Step #4 add the following line : gp_mech_sound_system_disable_bitchinbetty = 0

Step #5 Save and close the user.cfg

Step #6 Launch MechWarrior and enjoy the voice

Yup thats what I did !

 

I got it working but the volume is so low that in a firefight you can hear she is saying something just not what.

 

Yeah, had to lower my other audio sounds to get a decent listen of it. I approve so far. Can't wait till they fully implement that

 

I want Kate Beckinsale in full british accent saying "Power Online, Weapons Online, All Systems Nominal"
