_ You think I am joking if I say that I use this in a serious fashion, but Big Lenny here has been a formittable force on the battlefield for me and my team. Piloting him requires Brains, Balls and lots of aiming fluid (Alcohol). Currently holds my second highest damage (sadly was not recorded) of 1919 in faction play (that's 1919 on the first drop). This is a mech I am proud to use on the battlefield, with LRM Boat Plastered all over the mech. Yes it has an XL-Engine but if you accuse me of being crazy, you would be correct in your assumption. If you want a 100ton LRM Boat, this is the perfect choice.
I find the 5E stands out as a LRM boat when making use of those torso ballistic hardpoints. I recently bought this variant to run something similar to what I saw the B33f playing one day i.e. LRMs + RACs... _ Sure it won't hit 1919 dmg but it should be good fun while it lasts. For a vanilla IS Assault LRM boat the Awesome 8R is probably the best choice, thanks to the missile quirks.
