_ So @krevLL has been running something similar on one of his MAD IIs and I had to wonder if it was doable on the Mauler. In theory, you can strip the arms completely out at the cost of 1 DHS and increase the engine to an LE 325 instead. _ Krev runs his mad with some lasers on top, but at the loss of 10 tons to run it on a Mauler, that's probably not an option here. I'll admit I was skeptical when I he suggested it for the MAD II, but I've seen him run it and it can work pretty well.
Actually an interesting concept for the MX-90. It would play differently though, since I utilize the lower arm actuators quite a bit on my MAD-II. The extra mobility would be a benefit though.
To get lower arm actuators you could do the build with the NSR-9P. _ Although with the Nightstar I would probably trade something to get twin AMS...
