Doesn't the command console do absolutely nothing except for take up a slot?

 

Of course it does! It takes 3 tons!

 

DHS: Useless... so u spend 1,5Mio CBills for nothing. Drop the DHS. Instead put some FF on it. U save money and get extra armour for the arms, which can protect your sidetorso a lil bit.

 

If you really have to command your whole team, first of all you need ECM or you are gonna share your armor soon the second an opponent will be able to see and aim back at you and if you are not able to see the battlefield, you can't evaluate the situation to make the right decision. You can't fit ECM on this variant, so it's a no go anyway.

Second, you absolutely need some long range weapons to soften up or diverge attention on you instead of your team, so you can actually be of some use instead of doing no damage and not sharing armor or not taking any attention from the enemy team. Even a single gauss or ERLL ECMed mech could be better than this one.

 

That medium laser can cause minor injury - equip a second Tag instead.
