In this case, you are mimicking an LRM boat, by sending "WARNING: incoming missile" messages to possible predators and forcing them to cover: hopefully, this will prevent brawlers to immediately push you. Works best when paired up with real LRM boats, because if they actually fear being LRMed, you can troll them and force them to cover. Well, I think I've found a possible usage for that -15% missile cooldown: if you don't have anything to shoot at, lock a target, fire a volley (it's not mandatory to hit), lock another target (maybe even lose lock and miss the previous shot), fire another signal volley and repeat. If you have a target on sight, fire gauss and lasers like any other vomit laser build. Add LRM5 to alpha strike if you want to force him into cover (nothing scares more than that this dreadful "warning: incoming missile"). I've honestly thought to fit a bigger LRM, but even a single LRM20+A doesn't seem worth when paired up with ballistics... Unless...
The very concept behind this build gave me a good chuckle. Thank you, Carlo. As for a rating, I'll have to give it a look when work stops eating up my time.
Not convinced by spending 3 tons on 'Incoming Missile' spam, though some people swear by it. I prefer the version where you actually take that LRM20+A and rain real fire.
