Seemed like it had a lot less armor on it yesterday than it does now, looking at the specs...Guess it was a typo or something. Not sure how good/bad it will be tbh. Any thoughts?
Should be more flexible than the Nova. About the only thing it can't do is boat 10+ lasers. But to me, it's yet another 80-90kph Clan omnimech with impressive pod space and you can build it just about any way you want.
This is one of my favorite Clan mechs ever. Very flexible and even the standard versions should be playable right out of the box with some minor adjustments. 50t might be the lower border for PGI's current pricing model for new mech, so it's fine it comes with all the upgrades. Slots might be a bit rare with all the fixed slots, so heavy laser boating won't work because of the heat / missing space for DHS. Other than that this should be pretty equal to the SCR utility wise, albeit slower but with JJ. So naturally the Huntsman probably will outperform the SCR on maps like Canyon Network, while the superior speed of the latter will give it an edge on other maps. Definitely looking forward to a FP Dropdeck with KDK, SCR, Huntsman and SHC covering every need for different situations.
Unlike a lot of the lighter clan mechs, this one looks to be fairly tall. I wonder how that will affect its gameplay.
Blah. Yet another dirty Clan 'Mech. That said, PGI did a pretty solid job of making this one look good compared to the original artwork.
According to the Huntsman should have some decent room for adding weapon systems with some weight to them. Is this correct or did the Youtuber get it wrong?
Kanajashi is pretty spot on with his 'Should you buy' series if you ask me. The Huntsman will probably be a very heavy hitter, albeit with some limited speed for it's weight class, especially when compared to the Stormcrow. Hunchback IIC are already a very strong contender at 50t for various reasons, but naturally don't have the flexibility of an omni mech.
