Hello Everyone, This is my first build guide for this forum. I've seen a lot of Battlemasters out there and with the introduction of the new Kodiaks, it just wanted to highlight the importance of this mech on the battlefield I'm an upper Tier-3 pilot, and I have over 600k XP on this specific variant. The build is not my own, infact I stumbled across it watching one of BlackHawk-SC's youtube videos. However, it is THE GO TO build for this variant. No questions asked. Weapon Groups: 1 - Left Side LPL , 2 - Right Side LPL, 3 - ALL LPL chain fire. Modules - LPL range and cooldown, radar derp, seismic Consumables - Coolshots x 2 Play style. Here is BlackHawkSC who explains in great detail the positioning required to be good with this build. Screenshots of my games:
Fixed your images. Make sure your link is directly towards the image, not towards the imgur gallery. You can make sure you have the right link if you see ".jpg" at the end of the link. Also fixed the title towards the standard ----- It seems that the current build in your post has tonnage left! Did you mean something like this: It seems like an awesome build, and makes me want to revisit my Battlemasters! I only got the 1D/G/S, so I'll try this one instead:
I figured that out after posting, yeah The enhanced turn/yaw rate also help with the mobility a LOT, which is usually a big downside of assault torso-only builds. A shame because I'm not really seeing myself getting a 2C in the near future, but I guess I'll try running without the structure quirks! (Also, the older models need some of that juicy durability too!)
Get it! It's probably the best variant of the BLR available, the 1G taking a solid second place ATM. We should all be quite curious about the rescaling and requirkening coming to us in the June patch...
So quick update - The alpha on this thing is 55 damage. That means 2 Alphas will CORE any mech (except Kodiak). Me and a mate from my unit went around with 2 of these BLRs and it was the funnest , funniest thing ever. Mechs fell before they could fire their second AC20 shot. We would share armor tanking and were on TeamSpeak so co-ordinating targets was a breeze. Any time both of us had a firing position on a mech, it was toast. So hilarious. Lots of 7 kills (between us) matches. Infact I'd say there was about 1 in 10 we didn't have 7. Just joy. Also interesting to note that even if you get a 500 DMG game, that's 500 CT damage, which basically means you cored atleast half the field, since it's very easy to hit CT for the full burn with LPL. Go get em! Hope they don't nerf it Yep Your first build. No need for machine guns as that takes away your torso twist and is simply not worth it. It's better to run around, cored , with no arms and still have your FULL weapon loadout. Just a joy hahahahahah
