It is so sad. Have those awesome looking PPC arms, but find them to be utterly useless as they are so low it feels as if I walk around scraping the floor with them. However, the PPC quirks are soooooo sexy that one just "needs" to mount them on the WHM. As such: highmounted torso PPC with a standard quad ML back-up setup. In essence I find this a decent and well perfomring mech. But, sadly, with the exception of the PPC quirks, nothing that can't be done better on a different chasis.
I find it crazy that on a model with such crazy PPC quirks on 2 threads exist for an actual PPC build. Have any of you even tried PPC on this mech? They feel like energy guass rifles
Going to try this but I think first it will be small pulse lasers rather than the mediums then I'll swap and see how it feels
Does it seem at all like the hitboxes are a bit underwhelming? Seems I go down in 2-3 hits....More than a bit disappointed thus far.
Have you heard about the good word of your lord and mech savior, Torso Twisting? Welcome to Mechspecs!
I refer to our lord and savior Torso Twisting and his divine spouse Steady Aim. So far I've been leading pushes in this mech and surviving them. Come to think of it, did you pay your respects to the lord of Front Loaded Armor recently?
5/5, Solid. Started off doing well with no basics, but the more I used it, the nastier it got. That PPC velocity is worth capitalizing on. Can use ERPPCs if you want more range, but honestly, I'd stick with regular for heat efficiency.
Small pulse laser version just not up to it, so the MLs win A 6D with 2 PPC and 7 SPL is however sweet
