Just your average Clan LRM Support Mech. 3 CALRM-15s, plenty of ammo, and a weapon backup of 2 CERML, in case someone gets too close. This mech you pilot from a support postion behind the main force. Keeping your distance is KEY. I have been using this with great success in both CW and PUG games.
I don't see the point. It is a waste of the chassis. If you want a missile mech the Maddog is better, and lighter too. Oh, and 10% missile Cooldown.
I have CLRM20s and CLRM15s with maxed out cooldown and range skills. Therefore the extra 5 tons of my chassis go to speed and armour that your Mad Dog Prime (Vulture Prime) wont have. Moreover, the Mad Dog is as frail as it is notoriously known to be in Battletech Tabletop, I find.
