"Hard to play, even harder to do good in, and far too vulnerable." "Looks like a truck on legs." This is what you are told when asking about the Dragon chassis. And you know what? I don't care. I liked them when I started playing - they were my first chassis - and I still like tham 2.5 years later. Thanks to the quirk system there are more people out there who at least are getting careful when spotting an opposing 1N. Hell, they are even called prime targets. Would you have thought in January 2013? Me neither. Show your love to this chassis here. Show us pictures, show cockpits, tell stories about your battles or simply post pictures why you like your Dragon. This is not primary a bragging thread, this is about dedication. Show it!
Not by me, but here is some propaganda: I made multiple gameplay videos of Dragons, my frag montages also include a lot of Dragons, I won't post them all. My favourite always had been the triple AC/2 Dragon-5N. If you're new to the game you'd be surprised if I tell you there once was a time the AC/2 was an amazing weapon. Actually, that was my favourite, I made AC/2 boats of every mech with a balistic hardpoint, even the Locust. But of all of them, the best AC/2 platform was the DRG-5N. This thing was a monster. You might think the DRG-1N is a great dakka mech, but it does not come anywhere close to what the DRG-5N felt like: Smoky, noisy, hot like hell. There's one thing I absolutely HATE PGI for, it's killing the AC/2. And killing this Dragon at the same occasion. For few weeks they brought it back with the first quirk pass, before they killed it again with their stupid UAC quirk. This is a recording from those blessed weeks, when we thought AC/2 was back... #ForeverInOurHeart
There is no such thing as a bad 'mech, only bad pilots. DRG-FTW. The quirked AC10 on the DRG-FANG is fangtastic. Also what is the camo spec from the 3rd picture in the OP? Can't seem to find it in the mechlab.

I got my highest exp game ever in a Dragon 5N last night. I sadly forgot to grab a picture of the scoreboard... I was so flabbergasted at the exp total.
I've played quite a few rounds with @Vergere where his Dragon crushed it! Usually with a Gauss. Mad props to a nerfed mech with bad hit boxes. In the right hands, it can work wonders!
