If you're using all D omni-pods, why not do it on a D? Just curious in case I'm missing something min/max-y.

Unless I am mistaken, that is currently not possible as we can't equip D pods on the Prime due to restrictions of the fourth variant?

 

But then you end up with a gelded D variant you're trying to level....

 

Just move it back after the leveling. You should be leveling 8 mechs at the same time anyways, there is plenty to do. I have just finished basic on 3 ebons and 1 executie.

 

I'm doubling mechs atm only so changing my setup every time I do a double will be too painful...

Not saying theres anything wrong with the build at all as it looks really interesting its just EVERY build bar one on this subforum is using some of the same pods which is frustrating.

PS: this is more an irritation with PGI as everyone who has the D bought the pack early so imo should have full swapping capability. That should be true in my opinion as well if you buy something in the gift shop as currently the inability is a disincentive to buy if you know about it but apparently PGI don't agree with me.
