[Feedback] Viva La Resistance

TBH, I expected a CW event. I kinda got disappointed though...the Invasion mechs got a weekend that earned them bonus MC for playing their (I) mechs, and the Resistance mechs got...a vote for a champion mech? Big whoop. But hey, 2 warhorns for Resistance owners who play 20 games over the weekend, there's that at least.

 

I might also use my GHR 5J to try for the leaderboard, but honestly, I doubt I'll have the time needed to get anywhere near the top. We'll see.

 

Was also hoping for a Resistance CW Event, but this one is also "ok".

I'm a little disappointed, that F, P and R owners get the same events and same prices, but the I and G owners get loads of mc, cbills and gxp AND a new loyality boost item.

Gonna try the Zeus and Enforcer Leaderboards, because the Grasshopper will be overrun and I play crappy with the Panther^^

 

Lol good catch for some reason was thinking WVR-6R... doh!

Guess the Panther for me as I find that fun and can quickly churn the 20.

 

Because your knowledge and experience can help the community therefor improve the game ..

The effective way would be to have a "newbie area" in famous MW forums like Mechspecs and noGrootnoGalaxy.
The idea is for the newbies to ask questions, and to be paired into a smll lance of more matured players and have them learn the tools of trade through the matches.

You learn quickly what to do and what not to, and the builds/chassis you should be moving towards depending on your style and hardware/connection restrictions.

 

I would have preferred this for the clan mechs. I did not participate at all in the CW event, does not interest me in the slightest.

Going to hit all 20 on this though, Panther(R) here I come.

I actually may try this on the GHR...I'm fairly good with it anyway. We'll see how my first night of attempts goes

 

Allowing group queue to participate is nice in its own way that we can play with our friends and all battles count, but we will see so much people get padded in there resistance mechs especially in larger groups.

 

Founder event: reasonable and nice. The pull actually mean something.
Phoenix event: reasonable and chill. The poll is a scam, for lack of better word.
Clan Invasion: reasonable goals but bad idea getting everyone to turn to clan for the event.
Resistance: reasonable and chill. The poll is complete wtf. They can at least give out a free future Champion, as most players with the package are unlikely to buy the champ anyways.

 

Its wall to wall hard core groups out there...

Somehow this isn't quite as catchy as the camp song it's based on. Oh, right, and that's the wrong model to do that.

FINE. LBX it is, then. Just don't get in my sights. Or maybe I'll just try Zeus builds.

 

Had some good GHR matches before work, only up to 163 though >< Won't have time to really play until I'm off work tomorrow though...then we'll see if I can get on the boards for once!

 

Lol I quoted wrong post... yeah first 5 were group and then I thought fuck that and will do the rest solo unless peoplw want help.

 

My solo queue matches have been decent (the few I've gotten so far)...only one with no kills, but the rest were 2+, and a nice 6 kill/850 damage round helped boost my stats. Just need to keep that sort of play up with a lot of solo kills, and I can manage it. It helps that the GHR has really been a major mech for me in all variants...I'm very comfortable with it, so I have a good feeling about my potential rankings. We'll see how that ends up working out
