Meh, nobody I recognize.

 

Oh there's a few I recognise..... some I'm surprised by... others I'm really not. A lot have played 3 years or so.

 

I suck so bad, they accused me of sucking like a boss, with hacks...but I guess they watched me play a bit......and figured, crap...this guy must be playing with his feet.

I was really surprised to see 007mither007, randmr24, and Wilhelmtell on that list, as I see them a lot overnight and while I stream. Mither and Wilhelm always seemed like they were just good players, and randmr24 is someone that I've surprised and killed more than once. Still...their stupid decision for running apps, I guess.

Glad to see no mechspeccers and no UMAD on the list.

Edit: This might be the end of the 66AH; Redjack3, Keith Youngblood, and Pariahsis are all on their command roster. 3/8 of their unit command just got banned, and they aren't a huge unit...that's gonna be a blow. Edit 2: Make that 6...don't know which they are, but apparently 3 of those names are regular members of 66AH. I expect we'll see a lot of departures from that unit soon...

 

Interesting you say that as 007mither007 is on my list of "not surprised" along with Erik Zunder (could never surprise him any direction I approached and believe me I tried quite a few times), X Jester X and Redjack3.

Don't know 66AH as a unit tbh.

 

Quite some names I recognize on this list. Also Wilhelmtell was one of the guys I noticed dropping of the WVR leaderboard, then reappear and move to topspot quite fast. I wonder if they're gonna correct that as well,...

 

He actually was first on that leaderboard.
But the drop then reappear has nothing to do with the cheat: if I understood correctly, the event was made solo drops only in the middle of the weekend, so a lot of players from the group queue disappeared from the ranking.

 

@epikt I know. That is why he rose even more on my cheat radar. He went high up the board due to the bug that allowed grouped players to compete, then dropped with those matches being cancelled. After that he rose up the ranking again like a rocket. That made a lot of alarm bells go off in my head

So hence my question if the leaderboards will be adapted to strike-out the cheaters. They can remain there, but I'd love to see some mention there as well

All the times I'd get taken out and wonder HTF they did that, I NEVER, EVER thought cheating.
I rarely pay attention to names and just assumed those pucks server side were all stitched up.
Bet we see whole units vanish

 

So far it seems like they may have actually spectate the players (or at least the logs) before they throw the ban hammer.
It is much better than randomly banning a bunch of suspects.

I wonder, if the Usage of Optical Tuning Tools, such like Sweet FX, would be counted as "Cheating". If yes, that maybe would explain a lot.

Yeah Russ explicity came out after being asked on twitter and said that every player on that list was banned for using aimbot programs. He directly told bhael fire he'd seen the footage of him.
