[Feedback] Looking for Group challenge

Those who fight together survive together.

We introduced the Looking For Group feature in our April 7th patch, and to celebrate the new feature we're challenging you to play in a group of each possible size.

There are lots of little prizes to earn, and if you manage to run a qualifying match in each of the listed group sizes by the end of the event you'll get to choose between a new Cockpit Item or a chunk of MC. So group-up and drop-in, MechWarrior!

Any game mode can qualify, but you must achieve the minimum match score for that mode while in the correct group size in order to meet your goal!

To use the Looking For Group feature, simply:

Click the Social button at the bottom of your Home, MechLab, Skills, Faction, or Store screens

Access the LFG tab

Click the 'Add Me to the Looking for Group Queue' button

Requirements

Assault, Conquest, and Skirmish: Minimum match score of 30 in a correct group size (these matches can also count to the UrbanMech Leaderboard Event)

Invasion and Counter Attack: Minimum Match score of 80 in a correct group size

Group Size Goals and Prizes:
2 + (min match score) 20 GXP
3 + (min match score) 1 x C-bill consumable pack (1 coolshot, 1 air strike, 1 uav)
4 + (min match score) 40 GXP
5 + (min match score) 2 x C-bill consumable pack (2 coolshot, 2 air strike, 2 uav)
6 + (min match score) 60 GXP
7 + (min match score) 3 x C-bill consumable pack (3 coolshot, 3 air strike, 3 uav)
8 + (min match score) 80 GXP
9 + (min match score) 3 days of Premium time
10 + (min match score) 100 GXP
12 + (min match score) 1 million C-bills

If all Group Sizes are Completed (2 - 10 & 12), pick Island Cockpit Item or 500 MC

To be perfectly clear, if you play in the right size group and get the right match score (for the mode), you will earn the rewards.

4 x C-bill Cool shot

That MC will be nice . . . good rewards for this challenge (though I wish there was a Mechbay in there, along with the 3 Days of Premium Time). At least it will be fairly easy to complete --- just one 30-score match in each group size . . . EZ-PZ.

I haven`t tried this new function up to now, but I think it is going to be interesting to get exact these 10 group sizes.

Says you. It's gonna be a bitch with my schedule I think I've been in a 12-man maybe twice since I started this game...damn overnight schedule!

Nicely dine. Relacing and short challenge, easily doable by everyone in a at least somewhat decent unit. I like it!

Do you have to play those group games with groups made of the new looking for group tool or do normal group drops qualify too?

That's a good question, it doesn't explicitly say. Anyone who drops in a regular pug group tonight or the LFG and see if they have succeeded in the challenge page, report back, k?

For me it sounds as if groups formed by either the 'traditional' way of harassing your friends list or by using the LFG tool will work and qualify. To me the introduction of the LFG tool simply looks like the reason for them to do this challange.

I think there should also be a chill out event and a leaderboard one, this amount of gameplay is perfect for a weekend.

I only got one left, a fourman. That's easy and I'll do that later tonight or tomorrow. That 12 man though @Remarius , that was pain to achieve.

It was very easy after all, but I'm wondering if the island item is unique for this event, so I'd get it, or it can still be purchased with MCs freely, so I wouldn't care.

Because I don't see it ingame at the moment.

Thought the same, but ultimately it's 500 MC vs. some optic alteration of one mech's cockpit, so I went for the MC.
