Hey, sometimes you can do well in CW PUGs I'm super proud of the second one, which was an attack PUG vs a 12 man And we had some morons too!
Most of that match was played in my 3L scouting for the team...if it wasn't friendlies killstealing from me, it was turrets I even had a miracle arty strike that had 3 people cored out, and all 3 kills got stolen from me...lot of most damage done though Would've kept going in it, but I pulled out my 4N at the end to have a heavy hitter to keep them at bay. That got all my kill blows
We were 2-12 down .... it didn't get much better... Our lance got 17 kills ... the other 8 players got 4 kills....
My lance got picked to be the diversion and we were sent to Alpha Gate as Bravo and Charlie lances went Gamma. We got sandwiched between their entire team that pushed half out of Alpha Gate and half out of Bravo Gate. So essentially started a mech down. After that, regrouped with Bravo and Charlie at Omega and had some decent brawls.
I knew this one was gonna hurt with 228 and Kriv on the other side, but it was worse than I expected. Biggest Salami spent the whole match bitching in chat and VOIP (hence the mute), although I did find it funny that she didn't get a point, since she specifically said she didn't care about winning. I got 800+ damage in my Panther as my first drop, and by that point every other person had lost 1-2 mechs already. Only got 7 kills, but the post-match said I got 20 "Kill Most Damage Dealt", and all 7 kills were Solo Kill award-worthy...so lots stolen from me I tried so hard, and even took out Kriv both times, but just couldn't keep it up.
16. How the fuck do you get 16 damage in a CW match, and only 4 assists? Or 125/129 with 5, for that matter!?
After a long streak of wins in the Tukayyid event (I have a lot of new TS addresses ) I came into this group,... I called 1COG to lead as they led in numbers,... They did call one meeting point, got overrun by the clans and kept silent for the rest of the drop,... Now I understand why the clans are leading the event. The good IS units can't keep up compensating for drops like this,... (ie. normal queue damage levels with 4 mechs,...)
Eh, yeah, but then there's these matches on IS side Incidentally, I learned an amazing strat for Counter Attack on Emerald Taiga when you're on the attacking side...the other team raged so hard that 4 of them DC'd early. We were up 20-2 at the time... 34 matches to go! ><
I blacked out the other names as there might have been a few of my unit mates on that team and I don't want to call anyone out (it's not all of the Jade Falcons by the way ). Generally attacking games don't work when I'm around, that goes double for Grim Portico. These guys were absolutely sublime in handing us our own asses from the get-go, we didn't even make it so far as the first generator. My best mech on that match was the Wubcrow who managed to take down three guys (plus seriously hurt a King Crab) and do almost a thousand damage on it's own while being heavily cored for the most part. They still wiped the floor with us. Drop Deck: First Drop: Nova NVA-A: 2x c-ERPPC Second Drop: Timber Wolf TBR-C: 2x c-LPL, 4x c-ERML Third Drop: Storm Crow SCR-C: 5x c-MPL Fourth Drop: Storm Crow SCR-PRIME: 5x c-SSRM6, 1x c-TAG, 1x c-AP
Although one of the last two left alive was taking shots at a fresh Panther as the team shouted "Shoot Omega!". He did and we pulled it out. Then again, sometimes you are.
