    Just cobbled this together in Smurfy. Runs reasonably cool even without skills and packs one mean punch.

    I dropped to a 330 to add in the 2x AMS. Compromises a bit of speed for a bit of utility.

    Great comment, have you allready tried any GRH with XL? It`s one of the XL friendliest IS mechs...

    I am using the XL330 / 2 AMS (2t ammo) version and it's a great mech for me both in CW and PUGs. Be careful about the heat, though.

    These kind of posts are inacceptable from my point of view. Giving no reasons or testing results combined with a serious downvoting comes very close to troll voting in my opinion.

    Grasshoppers are indeed very well suited for XL engines, so please expand on your opinion and reasoning.

    Agreed...this is not an Atlas we are talking about. I run XL on all three of my GHRs, and have only died to a side torso 3 or 4 times max out of a TON of games. Seems like a troll post, TBH, nothing more.

    I've been running something very similar during the competition...same engine, more JJs, and an SRM4 instead of the AMS. Has worked VERY nicely in getting me on the leaderboard:
