[Feedback] Pot of gold event

You buy a champion mech because its prefit or you want to level it fast, not for c-bills.

 

Hell, I love free money that I need for DHSes for my new Zeuses.

I'm super excited about this one...I just wish I had my Grasshoppers unlocked so I could use the Resistance one for the special unlock. The only "hero" heavies I have right now are my Summoner Prime, and the DRG-Flame, which I don't like I can move my splatboat build over to the Summoner though, and use it. Should be easy.

The nice thing about spending way too much money on this game is that I have a lot of mechs that qualify for that bonus...I have a hero/hero-like mech in every weight class. Guess that means it's time to break Ember back out, bitches!!! Pirate's Bane too for Lights...hell, even my MLX-Prime, which somehow brings in TONS of cash. Medium, either Nova Prime (Soy's Binary build) or Grid Iron...maybe even my X5 for some nostalgia. Assaults I can run DWF or GAR Prime, or Misery. Time to get all the CB I'll need to equip the final round of Resistance mechs...

Best part is, this is like the stocking stuffers. No weird way to qualify, you just play and play normally, and let the cash roll in. Can't argue with that.

 

I have light and heavy heroes, oxide and firebrand, I was thinking about getting pirate bane with the sale since I have 1500ish spare MCs, but what would be a good 3rd locust? (because 1E is obvious).

I still need medium and assault hero, for mediums the only candidare is the SHD(don't want to spend many, and I only have SHD, and wolvies as IS med mechs) and I don't like it that much, for assaults I have stalkers, and misery is excellent, but very expensive.

 

@Falconium - I got my Pirates Bane from the free mc events, been accumulating it for 6 months since the Halloween event. It's a nice mech, tiny and moving at 170 kph with ECM makes for a great scout. The flanking and spying abilities are excellent since you are so hard to see.

 

How about we peeps take out our founders for this event? Wouldn't that be nice,... F marks all around?

 

Hell singer is awful... Not many mechs I say that about either.

Heavy: TBR Prime (I) or HBR Prime.
Assault: DWF Prime (G).

So how is the match score calculated now?
Probably good to get some cbills, for refitting those resistance mech (need a few mils for DHS alone).

For some reason the sucky mechs are also the extremely cool looking mech.
Hellslinger, and Pretty Baby.

 

I would not say Grey Death suck, it is just that it does not offer anything different from cbills variant.
It is just like any other cbills variant with slightly different hardpoints, and a better paintjob.

As for the true champion[C] mech, all the ones I have are GREAT deals, as in they cost ZERO MC, being free gift mechs from events. Otherwise I would not advise buying a true champion[C] mech.
