    Yeah, Zues has got a great look going there . . . but the first thing that strikes me is how much it resembles an Awesome. Are it's Side Torsi going to be as vulnerable, 'cause if so, this things going to have survivability issues. o_O

    Looks like stock loadout for the 6S...and boy does that LRM-15 manage to look good. If the 6T's RA looks that way when SRM-18'd, things will be pretty awesome in the land of Zeus. Also like the Resistance scheme on it.

    Now I can't wait to get my hands on it to DHS/Endo it up and give it some more serious firepower!

    I'm giving some idle thoughts to the 6T - Pulses in the LT and CT, with SRM-18 in the RA. Left arm *might* be a decent shield?

    This is just a quick passing glance. Greatly depends on the quirks, I think.

    Quirks, agility, and how many DHS you can get in there. You've got 80T, so, armor and room for DHS should be okay (I assume you want SRM6+A) but the agility is realllly the question in my mind when it comes to a brawling mech. I mean, you're basically looking at an AS7-S on Weight Watchers.



    Obviously, there's less armor on a 80T mech, but, shaving 20T off of this means a much smaller engine, less DHS and more than likely, dropping weapons systems down to MPLs or SRM4s w/o Artemis.

    Probably more along these lines; (obviously faster Speed because of the lighter mech. Speed should read: 60.7 - Tweak: 66.8)


    Still a great build. Just not as epic as the AS7-S. Weight Watchers has done her good! ;)

    Probably not a hitbox, and not on standard edition.

    Now I wish I can put the YLW paintjob for Grasshopper!

    Odd really - the 6S has 4 energy slots over 2 areas and no energy quirks but 1 missile slot and a cooldown quirk?

    The 6T has tasty missile quirks to go with its 3 RA hardpoints... but a useless energy quirk for its 4 energy mounts spread across its CT/LT/LA.

    The 9S... interesting .... 6 energy hardpoints spread across the left side including 3 arm mounted and a zombie CT one matched to a cooldown/range quirk. A throwaway quirk for the one launcher in the RA.

    The Grasshoppers have some interesting armour bearing in mind the large arms and slim profile... turn your facing while on cooldown and voila... legs and arm tanking!

    5J - the AMS quirk.... I guess its ok as it carries dual AMS but seriously? Made up for by the reasonable energy quirks so guess not bad as a starter CW mech (maybe). Problem is no duration quirk on an ERLL quirked boat.........

    5H - swaps the AMS of the 5J for a missile cooldown. Same energy heat/cooldown for its 7 energy mounts but medium laser spec. Extra CT structure on top of the arms armour. Hello baby.

    5N - Then we have the 5N with its 8 energy hardpoints. Extra amour LA/RA/LL/RL. Extra structure LT/RT... plus turning speed quirks. Energy Cooldown and heat gen plus potentially useful PPC cooldown. Me likey......!

    Oh dear...some of those quirks...

    Zeus-6S: Decent AC5 quirks, and missile range isn't bad for LRMs, but if you want to make an SRM brawler build, range is not a great quirk (you want to be closer to fire anyway). Wish they would do a missile velocity quirk sometimes. No energy quirks really blows, especially with 4 hardpoints. Feels lackluster, especially given that you only have one M hardpoint...maybe a NARC spot though?

    Zeus-6T: Energy range without heat gen quirks means you don't get much out of them. This ones does at least have missile cooldown, so you could make a nasty build with 3 SRM 4/6+A and some MPLs to brawl with. Will likely run very hot though.

    Zeus-9S: More missile range, but it's wasted on this one for DPS...the 6T at least had multiple M hardpoints, while this variant only has one again, so maybe you could use that range buff for NARC? 6 energy hardpoints, with range and cooldown quirks geared toward the ERLLas, but without the heat generation quirks, it's not going to be able to boat those weapons like a STK-4N and be effective at all. If anyone goes that route, expect to go more along the lines of 4 ERLLs instead of 6, it will not be able to cope with the heat otherwise.

    GHR-5J: Better, you've got ERLL cooldown at 20% with a 12.5% heat gen quirk attached, which means you could put a good energy build on there. The AMS quirk though...why? Even with double AMS, it's not going to bring much to the mech in comp play, where you rarely see LRM fire, and in normal queue a lot of people still don't bother with AMS thanks to Radar Derp being around.

    GHR-5H: Easy choice making this one into a MLas boat, but missile cooldown with only one M hardpoint is kinda meh. At least it's a head point, so you can strap in an SRM launcher and zombie the fuck out of people, so long as you can keep ammo somewhere that it won't get instagibbed. The 5H got one of the better quirk setups.

    GHR-5N: Energy cooldown, and 20% total heat quirk for PPC (10% otherwise), that's doable. This one feels like a "don't be angry" gesture from PGI after the 9S nerf. Still, with GHR JJs, it might be able to perform as a passable poptart mech in CW, which the IS really needs.

    As far as how they look, I like it, but the height of some of those hardpoints is worrisome. The Zeus points are all below the cockpit as far as the pictures show, which means it may suffer from Atlas-itis on maps like Caustic and Canyon. If the GHR antennae can't take fire, that will be ok, but someone with a sharp eye will be able to see them poking out from behind cover, which means they can track movement easier if they don't have seismic. May be a nonissue. Like the Zeus, the hardpoints on the torso look low, but the arms actually seem to be a bit higher. I'll want to put in a few good hours of play when they hit to be sure of how good/bad that is.

    Iceland prays daily, and offers sacrifices, that EVE will never die. If it does their Tourism Revenue will be cut in half when all you guys stop flying there.
