I dropped $40 on not just internet robots, but a preorder for internet trashcan robots. What's wrong with me? At least you have company.
I keep telling myself I've spent too much money on this game...I've bought MC too many times, preordered half of wave 1, all of wave 2, all of resistance, and now urbies. But I guess I enjoy the game...so it's not exactly wasted on something I'll never use. F2P attacks my wallet. It's super-effective! Wallet fainted.
I buy things in games like this not when I want the item (well, except mechbays here) but when I feel the devs have done something worth supporting. And as much as I may bitch about many aspects of the game, they've done quite a bit of good work to make things fun. That said, I don't like pre-ordering, and I especially hate PGI's pre-order system where you get none of the stats other than the concept art when you pre-order. Will X mech be anything like the tabletop version? Who knows! What sort of hardpoints/speed/etc will it have? No clue!
yeah, but given their past mechs, they will make the UrbanMech playable at the very least. even if it would kick the ass of the TT UrbanMech.
True, but will it fit MY playstyle? Almost certainly not. Will the Panther? No idea. I'd rather make an informed purchase.
Well in fairness surely the only stat for every mech (except the urbanmechs) we don't have is the quirks? You can see exactly what the Panther will have on the resistance page.
I laughed when Falconium won the urbie package on the NG NG stream last night (I assume it's the same Falconium as here).
Damn you, I forgot how this thread was titled and when I saw this on the new post list I thought "Urbies are already there! so awesome! let's launch MWO I want to pilot my Urbies!".... False alarm...
Could be worse I came here because you came here and I wanted to see what you posted about Urbanmechs!!!!!
I didn't technically . . . well, it's not like I actually stole . . . I didn't take it away from anyone else who might have gotten it . . . if I hadn't gotten it . . . or something . . . I'm not a bad person. PGI was just giving it away! So I just put my name in, and they gave it to me! It's not my fault!!! Gonna enjoy rocking those trash-cans . . . in custom-camo style.
