I've been messing around with Large Laser builds, this guy is the best I've come up with so far.

75.5 kph and some scary laser vomit. Use Machine Guns as support.

In the hands of a heat conscious pilot this seems like a potentially deadly beast. Not sure I would like it, but some like it hot,...

I would however suggest to drop 1 ton of ammo on the MGs (they are essentially a gimmick on this build) and subsequent alterations to the build

 

Go big or stay home ;-)
Add endosteel and you can squeeze in a 375XL with an extra heat sink.

 

Or even remove them at all, and go for max DHS the mech can hold
