Theses are either going to be the worst light mech in the game or the new swarm of death with that AC20 variant. I don't care, still wants it!

 

the 20$ pack with 3 bays and 30 days premium looks worth its money, since it's basically the price of the 30 days and the 3 bays excluding all other items.

 

can't believe I spent $20 on this piece of shit.

It's not that $20 is a lot of money, it's that the urbie has no place in solo queue (and only as a joke in group queue all-urbie battles).

I mean, I'm waiting for Dragon Age Inquisition to hit $20-25 instead of paying $40 for it right now, and that's a full game but yet I quickly spend $20 on 3 urbanmechs.

 

So I dropped $20 on some premium time, 'Mech bays, AC/10 cool down module, and 360 Target retention module. And I got three free Urbanmechs. Granted, they take up those 'Mech bays I bought, but meh... Oh well.

 

It is a good deal. Plus, the engine is upgradable, so it will actually be more ok than expected.
If you can run an XL200 or even 255 in it...

 

But when you compare it to say the Phoenix pack, $40 got you two 30% Cbill Variants, 30 Days Premium Time, 6 Mechbays, and some other stuff. I think if you pre-ordered you got another 30 Days of premium on top of that.

 

Instantly preordered the $40 pack because the Urbie in on the list of 'Mechs I must buy instantly and without question - The Com Guard Unit Acquisition Table from the old tabletop Tukayyid scenario pack:

 

Wonder if Com Guards will be a playable faction.

 

Thought PGI had adopted ComStar as their faction of choice (which makes sense, the effective powers that be that control and manipulate the universe...) which is one reason why it's unlikely they'll be playable.

No matter, I remain true to the path laid out by the Blessed Blake, titanium white the only non-pack MC colour I've purchased, applied only upon (non-hero/pack variant) 'Mechs that have gotten a kill as stock. Yeah, apparently I derive enjoyment from making things harder for myself

 

Well don't forget that Comstar Warhorn they included in the horn sounds set......

My bet is they will eventually include them as its such a popular demand.

 

That was my thought as well Remarius. It would allow them to introduce a whole new line of mechs that they could charge money for.

 

In that case we would make the Word of Blake...

The solo queue is going to be even worse with these pieces of shit taking up slots. Admittedly, though, I can't wait to kill them.

 

Actually there essentially isn't a light queue in a lot of my matches currently. You're lucky if you see 1 light.

 

Here's how dumb I am: I almost want to drop $20 just to get the free AC10 module, even though I never use AC10 on any mech I own.

I am an idiot if I do it...and I may well do it.
