Did they get a new annoying voice actor for MWO?

So I started playing Community Warfare this week and I just recently realize that there is a new Bitching Betty voice. I got to say that I am not a fan at all... Why not just use the original voice actor and provide some continuity?

For those that don't know what I am talking about self destruct your mech; the countdown seems to be a new voice?. I find it..... not very Mechwarrior/Battletech. Maybe I am just hearing it wrong but I swear it is different and every time I hear it I cringe. Imagine if they implemented that across ALL your mechs systems. Its like being married to Rosanne or The Nanny.

 

Yes Jacob, they did. I even believe I know who it is; she is/was an active player in the MWO community.

LOL if it is who I think it is then you go ahead and flame her all you want; self centered, sycophantic little trollop with a stuck up attitude who lives in her moms basement but thinks her shit don't stink. She needs another woman to give her a good slap across the mouth and welcome her to the rest to the world.

Actually, I do think she is perfect for the job. Robotic personality for a robotic sound bite.

Oh, her voice is bugging you? GOOD. That's what Bitching Betty is for. So that you'll pay attention.

Ask a fighter pilot what 'flight computer hot' means. And why they're happy Bitching Betty is screaming it at them.

 

LOL right? No it's not bugging me in the way of "Jeez, I need to pay attention to that warning", I would be okay with that. It's bugging me in the way that my subconscious is picking up the inconsistency between the regular mech voice and this voice; the lack of continuity. Also, it sounds like this person is trying too hard as there is a difference in pitch between the announcement of the self destruct and the count down. It's like "I'm trying to be pro but not quite getting there".

Just a minor gripe and I'm sure PGI got her for cheap cheap, if not for free, so that means more money elsewhere!

 

Hah, so I found out who she is. There has to be a story there somewhere.

 

LOL let sleeping dogs lay. I can't give you much context without breaking my word on other things. Needless to say I am not involved in the politics nor am I exposed to this person, in any way shape or form.
