In preparation for the -30% heat generation quirk this guy will be getting I present: FireWubber

Even more OP the the SPL one because of the range, test is not even needed as 30% is so huge, I tried the Jenner K with 4 that gets no range and was just -15%, the cooldown bonus was not too useful as it overheats faster, with -30% this is going to be a beast, I mean, I used to do good with 6 MPL stalker, this thing will be more or less at the same cooling eff. going 142 km/h. WHY ?

They just decided FS9 has to be the best for some reason (heck Jenner K gets an heat gen nerf with the introduction of this, totally nonsense).

So now they have the best MLAS quirks, the best SPL quirks and the best MPL quirks among 35 tonners and they get hitbox fix too...gg I guess .

Well it's not stated if it's a nerf or not yet ! FS9 are my primary target when piloting a light now, I hate this quirks difference and I want to kill them all

Anyway about this build, my guess is the pentacle, with max engine and 1 more DHS will perform much better.

 

I meant to include a similar variation in the OP, i'll include yours. The trade of firepower might be worth the speed and extra DHS. I will test tonight.

 

It is very hard to argue against this setup. The lack of range is worrying but the ability to carry an almost full armour load at 150KPH with 5 MPL that run the heat of what 3.5 is impressive... if you needed it you even have a JJ.

Presuming no over savage hit box nerfs of course.

Running the numbers in comparison to the FS9-A and FS9-H now. I'll post the quirked up stats shortly.

 

Here is a comparison chart of the new quirks. The FS9-S will run ~0.6 HPS hotter than the JR7-K, but that alpha damage and dps will definitely be worth it. I also added the 5x MPLas version for comparison.

Also added to the chart above. Has the same DPS and slightly hotter than the FS9-A SPLas boat, but with twice the range! Problem will be the heat dissipation with only 9 internal DHS and 1 external... an abysmal -2.23 heat loss a second

Lol yeah sorry I know I've been emo-ragey over this but I'm one of the pilots who thought a change was merited - but turning them into targets and introducing 100 ton pilboxes that twist at 99 degrees a second was bad on so many levels my mind is struggling to comprehend it.
